“I CAN PICK OUT THE THINGS THAT I LIKE BUT I HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME PULLING EVERYTHING TOGETHER!”
When my husband approached me about doing a dream addition of a new primary bedroom with en-suite, the concept was a bit overwhelming.
I can pick out things that I like but have a difficult time pulling everything together and a very difficult time visualizing the end result. I presented Maria with my bathroom vanity, the tiles I loved and the luxurious cast iron tub that my husband promised me and let her know I was struggling with flooring.
I shared the Pinterest board I had already been working on and showed her around my other spaces so that she could get to know my style. She then hand drew my bathroom, with a recommendation of tile placement and beautiful ideas to tie the whole room together, like using the accent tile at the window and in the shower and helped to convince my husband that a glass shower wall would be beautiful and practical. Maria also tied in pieces such as a wooden towel ladder and wooden stool/table which would echo the style of the overall home and be functional. So pleased with everything Maria brought to the process!

My husband and I began working with Maria nearby a year ago, with what started with just a couple of rooms. We were at a point where we were falling out of love with our house and didn’t know where to go with it. Skip to now and our house is transformed into something I could only ever dream of. Maria helped us with colour schemes, furniture placement and decisions, lighting, bathroom tiles, window/door decisions, smaller styling and more and seems to have incredible knowledge around what to take into consideration when making decisions. Of course, we then had to use her for the other rooms upstairs and the house now oozes so much more warmth, style and consistency – things we were lacking before. Maria is extremely talented with an incredible eye for detail, not only that – but is friendly, helpful, passionate about interiors and nothing is ever a problem!! Maria really listens to what you want and for us, we needed the house to work practically (with kids!) and that was all taken into consideration alongside budget. She has recommended a few suppliers, who are also very professional and reliable and this has been a huge help and takes the stress out of having interior work done. I can’t recommend Maria enough!! I just wish I had found her at the start of our build, to make those tough decisions easier and prevent having to redo/work around decisions that were made in haste.
